On the first pass of our second test session, something was not right with the engine, and it let go. The frustrating part is it happened so early we will never know what went wrong. This killed our plans to go to Phoenix for the NIRA event. That engine was a bone stock 20B from Japan, that had never been apart. During the next few weeks we assembled a bridge port 20B that should be making considerably more power than the stock one, and last longer. |
| First "shake down" runs were at Palmdale (L.A. County Raceway) Tuesday, March 30th. The day went very well for what we wanted to test. The car ran fine all day, launched straight, brakes were fine, and everything worked as designed. | |

| At the end of the day, the photographers from Sport Compact Car were there to shoot our car and the JUN Civic for upcoming articles. | |
| Next test will be around April 20th. This will be when we start getting serious by jetting both nitrous systems up to about where we hope will be maximum. | |
