| In addition to our other clutches, we also offer the CENTERFORCE brand/design of clutch. These have small weights attached to the fingers of the diaphragm in the pressure plate (except for 93-95). The theory is that as RPM increases, the force attempting to throw the weights out and away from the clutch will, instead, be directed along the fingers and across the pivot location of the diaphragm. As the force crosses the pivot it's direction is reversed, and the force is now directed so that the engagement surface of the pressure plate is pushed harder into the clutch disc. . |

The disc uses a THERMAL RESIN compound, made into pads, on one side for excellent performance in high temperature situations. The other side of the disc utilizes a fiber type friction surface for smooth engagement, and operation at lower temperatures. | |||
