Our 800 Number is for PARTS ORDERING ONLY. We request that you know what you want, have the part numbers ready, and have already checked the prices. It would also be helpful if you have your customer number ready. If you have purchased from us previously, you should be in our database. Your customer number is the first 3 letters of your last name, + zip code.
This page is being written in the hope of
decreasing any offense that might happen if we ask you to please call back on
our regular line (562-426-7960 or 426-4460). It is not fair to those customers
who want to use the 800 number (with all their info ready), if the line is tied
up with other calls.
We can NOT do any of the following on the 800 number:
As you can see, when all of these types of calls are going on, those who DO want to order parts can not get through.
We do not have an answering machine on this line (we have heard it ring essentially any of the 24 hours in a day, seven days a week!). We are open PACIFIC TIME from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00, and from 1:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. For any who are not aware of time zones (don't be offended - there are a LOT of customers who don't know), there are SIX zones across the U.S.-- Hawaii is two hours behind us, Alaska one hour behind, (then our zone), then two zones across the middle of the country at an hour difference each, and the east coast is THREE hours ahead of us (daylight savings time confuses this a little more even). This simply means if you live in New York, when it is 10:00 in the morning for you, it is 7:00 A.M. for us, and we are not even here yet!
Also please remember that our BUSIEST time is from about 2:30 until 4:00 (4:15?) when UPS shows up. This is when we are rushing to get all of the orders shipped out - so if you can call earlier than that, it will greatly increase the probability of getting through on the first try, and help us get more orders shipped later in the day.
