Strut Tower and Engine Torque Brace For 86-92 RX-7

The MAZDATRIX strut brace incorporates all the mandatory design criteria to be a truly functional part of the car. Built of steel, fully triangulated, TIG welded, and powder coated, the unit prevents the strut towers from moving during any type of driving. The version which includes the braces going to the firewall essentially becomes a structural member of the front engine bay/unibody. The increase in chassis firmness and steering feed back is very impressive.

	When the engine torque brace is also used the result is a very precise feeling chassis, with immediate response to throttle inputs. The torque brace prevents the engine from rotating on its mounts every time you push on or let off the gas. The brace virtually eliminates the shuddering frequently felt when starting from a stop. Polyurethane bushings are used at one end of the brace to decrease the engine vibrations transmitted to the chassis, although there is still somewhat of an increase from stock.
The Strut Brace and Engine Torque Brace have been carefully engineered so they fit ALL 86-92 RX-7's - Turbo, non-turbo, Convertible, with or without Auto-Adjust Suspension, and with or without ABS. When ordering a bar with the Engine Torque Brace, just let us know if your car is a Turbo so we can supply the spacers needed. The firewall braces require drilling of (4) holes in the firewall middle lip.
